Thanksgiving Day is celebrated each 4^th Thursday of November.

This is one of the richest theme in the school curriculum. The best way to use this theme in class is to have some families involvement such as:

• Favorite Thanksgiving Recipes
• Family Artifact
• Family Tree
• Classroom Party for Parents

Children love to play Indians and Pilgrims by setting up a table with plastic food, and making hats/bonnets and headbands. This is a great chance for teachers to add educational activities:

• Vocabulary and Word games
• Math & Science (cooking class)
• Art & Dramatic play

A great opportunity to remind yourself that the most important in your life are family bonds!
